Design Community Services (DCS) has commissioned Bridgeworks to develop a stock control solution to improve the efficiency of warehouse operations and the quality of service DCS provides its customers. The key driver for this solution implementation is the containment of costs associated with stock management. To that end, it is envisioned that the introduction of this solution will significantly:

  • Reduce operational overhead of maintaining warehouse inventory
  • Improve staff efficiency
  • Enable detailed tracking of stock movements
  • Form a basis to identify stock holding costs

Bridgeworks supports DUX Interiors at House & Garden Fair

Bridgeworks Solution attended the 7th annual Daily Telegraph / House & Garden Fair in a gesture of support for DUX Interiors, whose world famous beds were exhibited together with the classically Swedish furniture of Gustavian Limited. And based on the interest generated, it is clear that the DUX bed and the Gustavian hand carved bed frame are a natural fit. With over 450 exhibitors, Bridgeworks could not help but observe the many collections that could be managed by ShopLink, instantly feeing up staff to sell, sell, sell.

Enigma Furniture deploys ShopLink to coincide with launch of new collection

Enigma Furniture Limited, formerly Wittmann Designs, has deployed ShopLink to coincide with the launch of the new 2002 collection, which brings together seating from Wittmann, tables from Ronald Schmitt, accessories from Mid and storage from Behr. ShopLink enables Enigma to offer such a wide product range with its catalogue functionality and by automating the order processing from soup to nuts. With ShopLink, the Enigma team will be well placed to continue the personalised, one-on-one customer service that company founder Gill King has built her reputation on.

Bridgeworks attends Spectrum 2002 as official guest

Bridgeworks Solution attended London's premier design showcase Spectrum as an official guest of Enigma Furniture. At the invitation-only Gala, Bridgeworks toasted to Enigma's success. And Enigma had much to celebrate as for the first time the collection ranged from high quality seating and tables to complementary accessories and storage. With the non-stop interest expressed in the new and expansive collection, it's no wonder that the Enigma team keenly awaits ShopLink!

DUX INTERIORS UK upgrades to ShopLink 3.5

DUX INTERIORS Limited, the English subsidiary of the famous Swedish bed manufacturer, is currently upgrading to ShopLink 3.5. DUX, who has been using ShopLink since 1996, expects to have all shops in the UK upgraded by the end of January 2002. ShopLink 3.5 provides improvements for order processing, product and price maintenance as well as customer management. Additionally, this new version offers an automated interface into DMS, the Bridgeworks Delivery Management System.

Design Community Services introduces DMS to their clients after successful pilot (November 2001)

Design Community Services (DCS), a logistic company focussing on the interior design industry, has introduced Bridgeworks' delivery management system DMS to all its clients. DMS helps DCS streamline their delivery process by reducing the amount of communication per delivery significantly, which allows DCS to concentrate their efforts on providing the superb service which demanding clients in this industry have come to expect.
